Innovations, India, teaming with the Indian Institute of Young Inspirers, offers the sale of communication materials for use in health and development work, including training materials, entertainment-education (EE) materials, teaching learning materials, training games, and training to design creative communication materials. Indian Institute of Young Inspirers is a social initiative of Innovations which uses youth input to develop games, magic tricks, and other youth-focused materials accompanied by messages related to following issues: adolescent health and development, maternal and child health, sexuality, gender, risk behaviours, HIV/AIDS, violence, early marriage and pregnancy, peer pressure and drug abuse, nutrition, water and sanitation, immunisation and life skills, etc.
Their list of tools include the following (prices are included on the site along with a list of services for design and development of games and strategies for communication). They have ready-to-use publications on more than 30 issues. A few examples are:
- Interactive Games Kit for Anganwadis [Growth Monitoring]
- Building Block Game [Mother and Child Health]
- Male Reproductive System Coin Game [Adolescent Health]
- Dori Game [Myths related to HIV/AIDS]
They also develop materials on demand based on the needs of the specific programmes.
