Kyabuhangwa Women in Development (KWID)
Kyabuhangwa Women in Development (KWID) is an organisation that operates in Rukiga County, Kabale District in Uganda. In an effort to empower women, it focuses on their challenges to economic and communication advancement, working with community groups and sharing information and ideas via presentations, books, reports, and videotapes. KWID addresses women's integrated community development, focusing on their needs in the areas of education, economic development, health, environmental management, and social welfare.
Communication Strategies
KWID works with marginalised community groups through face-to-face sessions, as well as by disseminating brochures, booklets, videotapes and reports. KWID's activities and topics include:
