Childbirth Series - Videos

This video series on childbirth - brief, live action videos - is designed by the Global Health Media Project to improve the quality of care during childbirth and protect the lives of birthing women. The videos showcase a "midwifery approach to care with a birth attendant working solo, the norm in small facilities throughout much of the developing world."

According to the project, the videos show practices surrounding normal birth that "demonstrate best-practice care during labor, birth, and immediate postpartum."

Videos are available in downloadable versions for laptops, tablets, and mobile phones, after a registration process on the Global Health Media Project website.
